NASC Certified Scaffolding

We're proud members of the National Access & Scaffolding Confederation — independently audited to the highest safety and quality standards in the UK scaffolding industry.

What NASC Membership Means for You

When you hire an NASC member, you're not just hiring a scaffolding company — you're hiring one that has been independently verified to meet the highest standards in the industry. That means:

  • All operatives hold valid CISRS cards for their role
  • Scaffolding is designed and erected to TG20 compliance
  • Full public liability insurance is in place and verified
  • Safety management systems have been independently audited
  • All documentation — risk assessments, method statements, inspection records — meets NASC requirements

For commercial and industrial clients in particular, specifying NASC membership in your contractor requirements is one of the most effective ways to reduce risk on your projects.

"We're proud to be one of only a handful of NASC-certified scaffolding companies in the Milton Keynes area — a sign of the high standards we work to every day."

What is the NASC?

The National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) is the UK's principal trade body representing the scaffolding industry. It sets and enforces the gold standard for safety, training, and operational excellence across the sector.

NASC membership isn't something you buy — it's something you earn. Every company seeking membership must undergo a thorough independent audit covering their safety management systems, workforce qualifications, insurance, documentation, and compliance with NASC's own technical guidance. Only companies that meet all criteria are admitted.

Once admitted, membership must be actively maintained. NASC monitors members on an ongoing basis and can revoke membership if standards fall below the required level.

Why We Pursued NASC Membership

We pursued NASC membership because we believe safety is non-negotiable. We wanted an independent, external body to hold us to account — not just internally, but verifiably, in a way that means something to our clients.

We're one of only a small number of NASC-certified scaffolding companies in the Milton Keynes area. For principal contractors, local authorities, and clients who take compliance seriously, that distinction matters.

What It Means For You

The practical benefits of hiring an NASC member

Independently Audited

Our safety management systems, documentation, and site practices are audited annually by NASC. There's no self-certification — you have an independent body's verification.

CISRS Qualified Team

Every operative on our team holds the appropriate CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) card. No unqualified or card-carrying workers on site.

Full TG20 Compliance

All our scaffolding is designed and erected in full compliance with the NASC TG20 guidance — the industry standard for tube and fitting scaffold design.

Legal Protection

Hiring an NASC member helps protect you legally. If a non-compliant scaffold causes an incident, liability may rest with the contractor who hired the company. NASC membership significantly reduces that risk.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our scaffolding services.

What does NASC membership mean?
NASC (National Access & Scaffolding Confederation) is the UK's leading trade body for scaffolding. Member companies must pass rigorous independent audits covering safety management, training and qualifications, documentation, and financial standing. Membership must be actively maintained — it can be revoked if standards slip.
Why should I only hire an NASC member?
Only NASC members have been independently verified to meet the highest standards in the industry. Non-member companies may be uninsured, use unqualified labour, or erect scaffolding that doesn't comply with TG20 guidance — putting you and your workers at risk and potentially exposing you to legal liability.
Are all scaffolding companies NASC members?
No — NASC membership is not mandatory in the UK, and the majority of scaffolding companies are not members. We are one of only a small number of NASC-certified scaffolding companies in the Milton Keynes area, which is why clients who take safety seriously choose us.
What standards do NASC members have to meet?
NASC members must comply with NASC Safety and Technical guidance, including SG4 (Preventing Falls in Scaffolding), TG20 (tube and fitting scaffolding), and must demonstrate full compliance with the Working at Height Regulations. All operatives must hold CISRS cards appropriate to their role.
Can I verify your NASC membership?
Yes — our membership can be independently verified on the NASC website. You can find our full member profile via the link on this page. NASC maintains a public register of all current members, so you can confirm our status at any time.
