Why Milton Keynes is in our name

We've been putting up scaffolding in Milton Keynes since the late 1990s, and the city's growth is what grew the business. New estates, offices, schools and public spaces have all needed access at some point, and a lot of that work has come our way.

So we try to put something back. We sponsor local sports teams, support schemes that help ex-offenders into work, and train new CISRS-qualified scaffolders here in MK.

Why MK works for us

The best base a scaffolding firm could ask for

Being in the middle of Milton Keynes isn't just handy for the postcode. It shapes how quickly and how well we can look after local jobs.

Quick to get anywhere in the city

The grid roads make it easy to reach sites across Milton Keynes, and with the M1, A5 and A421 close by we can get kit to a job quickly and keep alterations on schedule.

A city that keeps building

Milton Keynes has been shortlisted for the Government's New Towns Growth Plan, so there's more housing, schools and commercial work on the way. We're set up to support it.

We know the local rules

If your scaffold stands on a pavement, verge or redway, it needs a licence from Milton Keynes City Council. We make the application for you as part of the job.

MK scaffolders, not a national chain

You deal with the same local team from the first site visit to the final strike. No sub-contracting, and no waiting for a crew to drive up from the other end of the country.

Here fast when it's urgent

When storm damage hit Lovat Fields Village, we had a multi-level scaffold up at short notice so the roof and chimney repairs could start straight away.

Accredited and insured

NASC members, CHAS and SafeContractor approved and CITB-registered, with £10m public liability cover and CISRS-qualified scaffolders on every job.

Who we work for

Scaffolding for homes, builders and businesses

Whether you're a homeowner in Bletchley needing a scaffold for a re-roof or a contractor running a new build in Brooklands, you get the same service: a free site survey, a clear quote, and a scaffold that's designed, erected and inspected properly.

Our scaffolders are fully trained, CISRS-qualified and insured, and we take the same care over a one-day chimney job as we do over a long commercial programme.

What NASC membership means for you

Scaffolding in Milton Keynes: your questions

Are you based in Milton Keynes?
Yes. Our yard is in Milton Keynes and most of our work is in and around the city, from Central Milton Keynes and Bletchley to Wolverton, Stony Stratford and Olney. We also take on sites up to 60 miles away.
Do I need a licence to put scaffolding on the pavement in Milton Keynes?
Yes. Scaffolding on a public pavement, verge or redway needs a licence from Milton Keynes City Council before it goes up. We make the application for you as part of the job and build the time it takes into the programme.
How quickly can you put up scaffolding in Milton Keynes?
Most domestic scaffolds go up within 2 to 5 working days of booking. For urgent work, such as storm damage, we can often get to you much sooner, so call us and we'll tell you what's possible.
Do you work on homes as well as commercial sites?
Yes. A lot of our Milton Keynes work is domestic: re-roofs, chimneys, extensions and solar panels. We also look after builders, schools, hotels and commercial sites across the city.
Are you NASC members?
Yes. We're members of the National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC), and every scaffold we put up in Milton Keynes is erected by CISRS-qualified scaffolders in line with TG20 guidance.
How much does scaffolding cost in Milton Keynes?
It depends on the size of the job, the access and how long you need the scaffold. We offer free site surveys and no-obligation quotes, so the quickest way to find out is to get in touch.
